The
Australian
Teamsters
Hall
of
Fame
is
a
museum
dedicated
to
the
memory
of
the
early
pioneers,
the
way
they
worked,
the
tools
they
used
and
the
teamwork required between man and animal to assist in the opening up of Australia.
Presentations,
exhibits,
entertainment,
slide
shows
and
movies
are
all
on
offer
at
the
museum,
even
some
good
old
fashioned
bush
damper
and
billy
tea
are available.
Bookings are essential.
An original restored Cobb and Co mail and passenger coach features, tools, transport, memorabilia and stories of a by-gone age.
The
history
of
the
infrastructure
needed
to
keep
the
Teamsters
working
is
featured,
Blacksmiths,
Wheelwrights,
Bullockies,
Cameleers
and
the
colourful
characters that make up the legend of Cobb & Co.
A
great
way
to
learn
about
our
early
history,
transport
and
how
it
was
all
done,
a
very
enlightening
and
entertaining
day
out
for
the
whole
family
in
the
very
heart of the Glass House Mountains.
